Arcadia has won the Lloyds list “Tanker Company of the year” award on December 7th 2007 for:
a. having continually laid emphasis on meeting high external and internal standards of safety, quality and environmental friendliness, achieving certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001, as well as joining an elite of tanker and bulk shipping Companies that hold the prestigious Green Award,
b. having the year’s largest delivery program of tankers above 100,000 dwt worldwide with its own fleet to be one of the youngest in the industry with an average of less than three years.
c. its commitment in continuous training and education. ARCADIA operates its own modern training centre for crew and shore personnel, which in 2007 became only the second of its kind in Greece to be certified by Det Norske Veritas.
